The Art Scene
You can't talk about the Berg without mentioning the art scene. From the moment you arrive, you will feel the creative energy that embraces the city. The Berg is home to 10 museums, with the Salvador Dali being the most notable. The Salvador Dali Museum is a work of art itself. The dome glass building is sure to leave a lasting impression against the backdrop of Tampa Bay. The Dali is open to the public year-round. Stop by and get inspired for your next art project. We all have to start somewhere; why not with the best?
You can even host your own events at the Dali. Rent the entire museum and throw the most epic wedding or graduation party. From the Dali to local artist murals displayed throughout the community, you will feel the creative vibes surrounding you as you explore downtown. Oh, is it getting hot here, or are you just blowing glass? The Berg has something special for those that want to see the artist at work. The Morean Glass Studio lets you in on the creative process. Marvel at the hot glass blown into objects of desire in front of your eyes.
