Welcome to the Jungle…
Well more like the Prada version of the jungle. Classic and timeless is the best way to describe Jungle Terrace. In true celebrity style, the Jungle Terrace rumor mill tells tales of epic celebrity parties and bootleggers running the town. You can’t blame them, who wouldn’t want a drink in paradise?
When it comes to location, Jungle Terrace nails it. It is ideal for beach and nature lovers that like being close to the city. Jungle Terrace is only minutes from the Gulf Beaches and a short drive to the downtown action in Saint Petersburg.

The roaring 1920s were wild times in Jungle Terrace. The lucky residents had access to The Gangplank, a speakeasy that brought in celebrities seeking a good time in the Florida sunshine. The rumor mill tells tales of underground tunnels for smuggling booze, a secret safe, and visits from the legendary gangsta Al Capone. Tall tales aside, we do know Babe Ruth spent time at the Gangplank; his love for good food and booze is well documented. The Babe knew how to have a good time, and he spent a lot of time in the Tampa Bay Area throughout his life.
